Window Pro

Neutral, single-component silicone sealant with a low modulus of elasticity and an operating elongation of class 25 LM (±25%). Thanks to a targeted formulation, it is compatible with the sealing of insulating glass units, preserving their characteristics over time, both in adhesion and proximity. It is also suitable for the elastic sealing of joints and expansion joints between frame and wall. It does not release odours and is highly resistant to UV rays, air and water and any stagnation. It withstands extreme temperatures (-50 °C to +150 °C) and ageing in general. Neutral-based silicones do not corrode metals and have excellent adhesion on smooth and porous substrates. Window Pro complies with EN ISO 11600, class F 25 LM and is classified as F-EXT/INT-CC according to EN 15651-1 and G-CC 25 LM according to EN 15651-2. It complies with the installation of windows and doors according to UNI 11673-1.

Instructions for use

1. The joint flanks must be clean, degreased and dry. With porous substrates it is recommended to treat with Primer Silicone beforehand. Deep expansion joints must be dabbed with suitable pre-formed pads, such as Torggler Synthetic Plugging Cord.
2. Tape along the sides of the joint.
3. Insert the cartridge into the cartridge gun, open it, screw on the nozzle and cut off the tip so as to obtain a sufficient opening.
4. Inject plenty of sealant.
5. Smooth with a spatula moistened with Smooth sealant within 5 minutes of application, exerting pressure to eliminate air pockets.
6. Remove tape immediately after smoothing.

Storage

In the original, unopened packaging and if stored in a dry, cool environment, the product will keep for at least 18 months. Unopened cartridges can be stored for approximately 3 months if properly closed.

Warnings

Torggler provides information on the compatibility of products with various materials used in construction and industry. However, the company cannot guarantee the full suitability of the product for each specific application due to the many unverifiable conditions and methods of use. Preliminary tests are recommended to ensure full material compatibility and perfect adhesion before starting large-scale production. In the case of adhesion on porous substrates, the prior use of Silicone Primer is recommended in order to avoid the possible formation of halos due to potential migration of the silicone plasticiser. Window Pro is not suitable for structural bonding. It does not adhere to Teflon, polyethylene and polypropylene as well as to damp substrates. Cross-linked silicone is not overpaintable.
