Instructions for use

Surfaces must be sound, clean and uniform. Slightly widening any cracks with a putty knife improves the joint profile and ensures better adhesion of the sealant. AR 2.0 does not require a primer: on highly absorbent substrates, first apply AR 2.0 diluted with water using a brush. Cut the nozzle to a diameter proportionate to the size of the joint. Inject a generous amount of AR 2.0. Smooth it out with a spatula moistened with Smooth levelling compound before a surface film begins to form. Apply sufficient pressure to ensure the joint is filled without voids and that the sealant adheres completely to the sides of the joint.

Storage

Store in a dry place away from heat. It will keep for at least 24 months in its original packaging.

Warnings

  • Not suitable for joints that are subject to foot traffic or constantly exposed to water.
  • Do not apply if there is a risk of rain.
  • Do not store or apply at temperatures below 0 °C.
  • Clean tools with water whilst AR 2.0 is still fresh; use mechanical methods or organic solvents once it has set

For use on façades, on vertical and horizontal joints, provided there is no persistent water pooling. Thanks to its excellent resistance to weathering and ageing, it can also be applied outdoors. Can be painted once set. Excellent adhesion to porous substrates, even when damp: finishing plasters, fine mortar or concrete.
