Exclusive interior design of the VIP area with Torggler products

Bolzano – The Druso Stadium is not only home to FC Südtirol, but also an important symbol of professional football in South Tyrol. Following extensive renovation, the stadium is now a modern arena that meets the highest standards of comfort, functionality and sustainability. At the heart of this renovation is the new VIP area, a place where exclusivity and technology meet at the highest level. A range of specialised Torggler solutions were used to design this delicate interior space.

Large-format 60×120 cm porcelain stoneware tiles were laid for the high-quality flooring, expressing a modern aesthetic and architectural clarity. The entire surface of the hospitality area was prepared with the utmost precision: the substrate was first treated with Tile Primer to ensure uniform absorption and lasting adhesion. The tiles were then laid using the high-performance Tile 480. The tried and tested buttering-floating technique, in which both the tile and the substrate are coated with adhesive, ensured uniform adhesion across the entire surface, a decisive factor when laying large-format tiles and in areas with high foot traffic.

Particular attention was paid to the joints: Tile Epoxy was used, a chemical-resistant epoxy grout that is easy to clean, has a high load-bearing capacity and is also highly appreciated aesthetically for its smooth surface. This solution offers long-term advantages, especially in hospitality areas, where design, hygiene and ease of maintenance are equally important. The installation system was completed with the use of Domus for floor expansion joints. The silicone sealant, available in a wide range of colours, elastically compensates for structural movements and is certified for pedestrian traffic.

The VIP area of the Druso Stadium is therefore not only an improvement in design, but also an excellent example of functional interior architecture at its most technical. Thanks to the choice of Torggler products, a durable, easy-to-maintain and aesthetically high-quality solution has been created, which fully does justice to the exclusive character of this area.
