Indoor Mold Prevention System

Mold in indoor environments is one of the most common problems, especially in older residential buildings, but it can also appear in new construction if ventilation is inadequate. The health effects are often underestimated: the substances released by mold can cause skin irritation, allergies, and respiratory problems. For this reason, it is essential to take prompt action at the first signs to permanently stop its spread.

To provide a concrete solution to this problem, Torggler has developed the Wall Remedy System, an innovative system designed to simply and permanently resolve issues related to high humidity and mold growth indoors. At the heart of the system is Panel Life, a calcium silicate panel that—thanks to its high porosity and low capillarity, combined with a high degree of water repellency—is able to block rising damp or moisture coming from the outside. At the same time, its thermal insulation properties keep the surface temperature above the dew point, thereby preventing the formation of new mold.
