Details

Consolida is a uniforming and consolidating fixative for indoor and outdoor wall surfaces based on acrylic resins in micro-emulsion:

  • Alkali-resistant;
  • High penetrating power on mineral substrates;
  • Particularly suitable for deep consolidation of indoor surfaces where it is not possible to use solvent-based primers;
  • Suitable for use on cementitious mortar, cement-lime mortar or equivalent, gypsum plaster for interiors, prefabricated cementitious elements, surfaces already treated with paints or coatings;
  • Pinkish transparent;

Instructions for use

Product dilution and preparation
Ready to use.

  • Application by brush, roller, spray;

Application tools

  • Brush: synthetic bristle;
  • Roller: short hair;
  • Airless or spray: preparation depends on dispensing machine, consult supplier for adjustment;

Substrate preparation
New plasters must be left to cure for at least 4 to 6 weeks to allow the natural carbonation process to complete. The patches, if any, must also be left to cure perfectly. Thoroughly clean the surface of dust and other substances that may prevent the penetration of the product. Old paintwork must be well anchored.

Known Incompatibilities
None. For any use other than that stated in this data sheet, contact our Technical Service.

Tools cleaning
Wash with water immediately after use.

Safety precautions

  • Keep the can tightly closed and frost-free;
  • Safety information for the user is contained in the relevant safety data sheet;
  • Empty containers or containers with slight traces of dried residual product film must be disposed of according to local regulations;

Warnings

Ambient and substrate conditions: the substrate must be dry, free of dust and grease;

  • Ambient temperature: min. +10°C / max. +35°C;
  • Relative humidity of the environment: < 75%;
  • Substrate moisture: < 10 of R.H.
  • Starting at the corner most distant from the light source in the room, apply the product from the top of the wall going downward;
  • Close the can immediately after use;
  • Store the product in its original packaging at a temperature between +5°C and +35°C;
