Application areas
Choose Smooth for
Packaged in a practical spray bottle with vaporizer, Smooth is ready to use and does not require further dilution. It is compatible with acrylic, silicone and hybrid sealants and can be used regardless of the chemical nature of the product used to make the joints between the different elements.
Once applied, it accelerates the surface cross-linking and promotes the uniform hardening of the sealant mass. Compared to traditional smoothing with diluted soaps or detergents, the use of Smooth is preferable because it is chemically less aggressive towards the components of the various types of sealants.

Preparation for use
The sides of the joint must be solid, clean, degreased and consistent. Place self-adhesive paper tape along the edges and inject an excess amount of sealant.
Instructions for use
Smooth out with a spatula moistened with Smooth smoothing agent before the surface filming begins: depending on the type of sealant, temperature and air humidity, the time interval can vary considerably. Apply a certain pressure in order to obtain a void-free filling and complete adhesion of the sealant on the sides of the joint. Remove the protective tape immediately, lightly spray Smooth and rub the surface with your fingers to level out any peaks or excesses.
Especially in the case of silicone sealing made on porous/absorbent substrates, it is recommended to remove the smoothing agent residues with water immediately after smoothing.
Storage
Store in a dry place, protected from frost and heat. In the original packaging it is kept for at least 24 months.
Warnings
- Do not apply at temperatures below 0 °C.
- Make sure of the sealants surface crosslinking time to avoid tearing the already hardened surface.
- Avoid build-up of smoothing agent on horizontal joints to prevent staining.
- Do not use on crystal clear hybrid sealants.
