Self-adhesive tape for joining the shower to the bath.
Clean and degrease the edge of the bath using suitable cleaning products (e.g. acetone). Stick the self-adhesive side of the Shower Tape 120 mm-10 m sealing tape firmly to the edge of the bath so that the tape faces upwards. Apply the tape in one continuous piece; do not use offcuts. Position the bath or shower tray. Bond the sealing tape to the wall using a waterproofing compound such as Flex 2K, Flexistar or Aquatech. The joints in the sealing tape must overlap by at least 6 mm.
The material must be stored in a dry, covered area at a temperature between +5 °C and +40 °C. Temperatures exceeding 50 °C may make it difficult to peel off the silicone-coated protective film. The properties of Shower Tape 120 mm–10 m remain unchanged for a very long period. However, we recommend using it within 12 months of manufacture. Protect from exposure to UV rays.
Store the product at temperatures between +5 °C and +40 °C. Temperatures above +28 °C may make it difficult to remove the protective film. Protects against UV rays.
