Sitol® Deck Bonding LV is a high-quality, professional hybrid polymer-based adhesive that cures by reaction with moisture to form a permanently elastic bond. Curing is characterized by prolonged open time. Suitable for bonding natural and synthetic teak decks. With constant elasticity from -30 °C to +100 °C, it absorbs vibrations and acoustically insulates glued elements. It has excellent resistance to UV rays, aging in general, chemicals, salt water and mold growth. It does not shrink or flake. It is free of solvents and isocyanates. It adheres without primer to typical marine industry materials, natural and synthetic, smooth and porous, even wet, provided they are clean, degreased and compact. (In the case of stressed substrates, it is recommended to treat the surfaces with Sitol® Primer Deck Caulking).
Sitol® Deck Bonding LV can be easily extruded by hand or with a pneumatic gun and is easily spread with a 3 mm notched trowel. Spreading the adhesive in a “full” bed is always recommended. In the case of large areas, it is recommended to spray the adhesive with water before bonding, so as to bring in more moisture for proper curing of the adhesive. Cleaning tools and removing non-crosslinked parts of Sitol® Deck Bonding LV can be done with a clean cloth wet with acetone.
In bonding applications, substrates should be assembled within 45 minutes and in any case within the time of surface skin formation.

Sitol® Deck Bonding LV can be stored for 12 months in the original unopened bag in a dry place at temperatures between +5 °C and +30 °C.
