Instructions for use
In the case of substrates that are not sufficiently even, it may be necessary, before proceeding with application, to level the substrates with special mortars and/or cementitious smoothing compounds or, in the case of minor imperfections, to apply a preliminary coat of waterproofing. Then apply the first actual coat of the waterproofing product, according to the instructions in the relevant technical data sheet. Then spread the NT 50 fabric over the still-fresh coat and embed it in the product using suitable equipment such as a trowel, roller or brush. When laying adjacent sheets of Tessuto NT 50, ensure that there is an overlap of at least 5-10 cm. Once the first coat of waterproofing product has dried sufficiently, apply the second coat or, if necessary, additional coats, until the fabric is completely covered by the waterproofing product.
Storage
If stored in a cool, dry, sealed place, the product will not deteriorate over time.

NT 50 fabric is a very thin, high-strength polypropylene non-woven fabric with a mass per unit area of 50 g/m² and a thickness of 300 m, to be embedded in liquid waterproofing products such as Aquatech, BW 100 or PU Flex for reinforcement and strengthening. Particularly suitable for applications in the presence of edges, corners or micro-cracked substrates in general and/or existing membranes, in order to prevent penetration and ensure a secure seal, it allows the thickness of waterproofing systems to be increased. NT fabric is made with thermally bonded continuous fibres, is resistant to water and chemicals, and has a good ability to conform to shapes and ‘copy’ the typical shapes of corners, edges and special details. It can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications.
