Prefabricated special inner corner made of TPE-coated, transversely stretchable and longitudinally stable polypropylene fleece.
A cementitious adhesive mortar C2 in accordance with EN 12004, type Tile 480 or Tile 250, is combed onto the load-bearing and professionally prepared substrate of the connection and expansion joints using a notched trowel (3 mm or 4 mm notches). Ensure that the adhesive mortar is applied approx. 10 mm wider than the PP tape. Place the Corner Tissue 90° and Corner Tissue 270° inner and outer corners, then place the PP Tape sealing tape in the centre of the joint in the fresh adhesive bed and press down using a smoothing trowel or a paint roller and smooth down so that no air pockets remain under the moulding. When using PP Tape sealing tape, ensure that a loop is formed at the wall/floor transition. Sealing tape joints must overlap by at least 5 cm. When applying the liquid sealing material, the sealing tape PP Tape must be completely covered in two layers with the corresponding layer thickness. Note on butt bonding on sealing strips Mat 1000 mm – 30 m or Bridge Mat 1000 mm – 50 m: The sealing tape PP Tape should be bonded with a sealing slurry, e.g. with Torggler Flex 2K, Flexistar or sealing film Aquatech. All suitable Torggler products for standard-compliant application are listed in the “Test certificates”.
Corner Tissue 90° has no expiry date but should be stored in a cool, dry and sheltered place to preserve its integrity and performance characteristics. However, it is recommended to be used within 24 months of purchase.
