Bitumen Seal is a ready-to-use, single-component, elastoplastic adhesive-sealant based on bitumen, inert fillers, resins, plasticisers, additives and solvents, specifically designed for bonding and sealing substrates of various types and natures.

Instructions for use
- The supports and/or sides of the joint must be clean, degreased and sufficiently dry; any loose, crumbly or non-adherent parts, paint, rust, dust and release oils must be removed.
- Any old membranes with bulges can be incised in a cross pattern, then the four edges must be re-glued, first underneath and then on top over the entire surface.
- Insert the cartridge into the appropriate mechanical or pneumatic gun and extrude using nozzles with a diameter proportionate to the application in progress.
- When laying elements by gluing, apply beads of product to ensure sufficient coverage of the surface.
- In the case of joints, after applying adhesive tape along the sides of the joint, inject the sealant generously.
- Smooth with a damp spatula within 5 minutes of application, applying a certain amount of pressure to eliminate air pockets.
- Remove the adhesive tape immediately after smoothing.

In the plastic state with solvents; after hardening, mechanically.
Storage
In its original sealed packaging, at a temperature not lower than +5 °C, away from heat sources and open flames, it can be stored for at least 24 months.
Warnings
- Do not use in unventilated areas or inside homes.
- Apply at temperatures between 0 °C and +35 °C; avoid extreme heat and cold conditions during application and drying of the film.
- Do not mix with cement or water.

Given its ability to guarantee excellent adhesion on various types of substrates such as bituminous, cementitious, wood, metal, glass and plastic, it is suitable for bonding and/or repairing bitumen-polymer membranes and Canadian tiles, installing insulating panels, sealing joints, chimney pots, skylights, ventilators, antenna rods, sheet metal and flashings. It is compatible with subsequent waterproofing treatment of the membrane with Primer Aquatech and Aquatech.
