Very fine cement mortar for grouting and smoothing cement elements. For cracks or surface imperfections of cement structures and prefabricated elements, rigid sealing of joints between cement slabs or ceramic elements with spaced laying.

Instructions for use

Preparation for laying
The substrate must be clean and sound, free from dust, loose material and dirt in general. Any formwork release agent residues must be thoroughly removed. It is advisable to dampen the substrate beforehand. In the case of very uneven substrates, preliminary levelling is required.

Product preparation
Mix Stuccosol with 31-33% water, equal to 6.2-6.6 litres per 20 kg bag, and stir until the mixture is lump-free; leave to rest for about 10 minutes and then stir briefly before applying with a trowel.
If necessary, apply the product in several successive coats, each one very thin, waiting for the previous coat to stabilise properly.

Storage

Stuccosol should be stored in a dry, sheltered place. It will keep for at least 12 months in its original sealed bags.

Warnings

  • Stuccosol must not be applied at temperatures below +5 °C or above +35 °C.
  • Never mix with other binders such as cement, hydraulic lime, gypsum, etc.
  • Do not add water once the mixture has started to set.
  • Do not use the mixed product once it has started to set, so take care to prepare only the amount of mixture that can be used within its working time.
  • Do not apply or smooth the product, especially in high temperatures and strong winds; protect from direct sunlight, mix with cold water, wait for cooler hours to apply and try to protect the surface from wind.
